Hawzah News Agency- Hojatoleslam Syed Tahzeeb al-Hasan Rizvi, a renowned Indian preacher and religious figure, made the remarks while emphasizing the moral obligation of Muslims worldwide to stand in solidarity with the Iranian nation and its martyrs.
Iran: The Voice of the Oppressed
The cleric described Iran as the voice of Islam, humanity, and the oppressed, stating that the country has positioned itself on the front lines against the criminal US regime and the Israeli occupation.
“Today, across the world, if there is a country that stands alone and unsupported, sacrificing and showing devotion in the path of Islam, that country is Iran,” Hojatoleslam Rizvi said.
He stressed that through its sacrifices; Iran has delivered a clear message to the Muslim world: only those who are among God’s chosen and beloved servants can pioneer the path of Islam.
A Call for Simplicity in Eid
The Indian scholar also called on Muslims to mark the upcoming Eid festivities with simplicity as a gesture of respect for the high-ranking martyrs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
“It is our moral duty to celebrate Eid with simplicity and offer our sincere devotion to the martyrs,” he stated. “Eid is a divine reward, and we are grateful for it. However, empathizing with the afflicted and standing by their side is itself an act of worship.”
True Islam: Living the Quran
Rizvi cautioned against superficial religiosity, asserting that possessing a copy of the Quran is insufficient.
“Living according to the concepts and messages of the Quran—that is true Islam,” he emphasized. “Today, if there appears to be a well-wisher and a helper for Islam, it is Iran.”
Defiance and an Inevitable Victory
The cleric highlighted that Iran has proven that not all Muslims are timid, but rather that among them exist courageous warriors whose bravery has been acknowledged even by their adversaries.
“America and Israel have both admitted to this courage,” he said.
He concluded with a bold prediction of the resistance front’s ultimate triumph, stating, “And God willing, the day will come when both America and Israel will kneel and apologize to Iran, and Islam will emerge victorious.”
